When will the pool be open?
If the weather cooperates, it will be ready to open as early as Friday, May 3rd! Prior to opening for the swim season, the Jr. Olympic pool is being re-plastered this spring to make it as good as new. If the April showers have stopped, and the temperatures are warm enough to allow swimming, we’ll be open. But if Mother Nature has other plans, the pool will be open with certainty no later than Friday, May 24th in advance of Memorial Day weekend. The pool will remain open through Labor Day weekend in September. Updated information about the pool opening date will be posted at the pool entrance in the second half of April to keep interested residents in the know.
