What this committee does for the community!
The Social Committee is responsible for organizing social events for the Woodcreek Community. These events have included: Donuts with Santa, a Polar Express Train Ride, Fall Festival, Community-Wide Garage Sales, Easter Egg Hunts, Men’s Texas Hold-‘em Tournament, Philanthropy, and Women’s BUNCO night. We keep you plugged in to what is happening in Woodcreek and in the surrounding area.

OVER 50 GROUP HAVING FUN !
Empty Nesters: Looking for people your own age in the community? Join the Empty Nesters/50+ group. It is a group of both couples and singles looking to socialize with neighbors. They have many activities planned for 2010. They welcome new members and new ideas. Check the Woodcreek website or e-mail social@woodcreekfatehoa.com for the most up to date information and times.

Men's Poker and Ladies Game Night
Guy’s night out is the 3rd Friday of every month at 7:30 PM in the clubhouse. We play 2 Texas Hold'Em tournaments per night. People are to bring their own refreshments and snacks for themselves. Ladies’ Game Night is every 3rd Saturday at 7:30 PM. Come have some fun!! |
The Social Committee needs your ideas and volunteers!!!!

We are trying to get the community more involved we have had several ideas from residents. These ideas include Family Game Nights, Women’s Blackjack, Women’s Bunco, & Women’s Poker. We are already working out details for these events.
We would also like more ideas for family activities, please e-mail us at social@woodcreekfatehoa.com if you have any ideas or are interested in helping plan and execute!

If you are interested in a cool way to spend the day with the kiddos try the spray park. The Harry Myers Spray Park is open 7 days a week from 9 AM to 9 PM and is free of charge.
Yearly Events
Aspasians Art Fair
A Rockwall tradition for over 30 years. The twice-yearly Art Fair features over 200 vendors gathered on the square offering an extensive and diverse array of merchandise and delectable foods.
Rockwall Rib Rub & Run
Each September teams fire up their grills for a smokin’ hot barbecue competition in downtown Rockwall! Residents and visitors flock to the historic town square for a fun filled day featuring good music and good eats! After you participate in the AM, 5k Fun Run hosted by Rockwall Running Center you can take it easy and stroll through the Shoppes of Old Town collecting the winning hand in the “Poker Stroll!”
Scare on the Square
Held each Halloween, "trick or treaters" enjoy the face painting and special treats on the Downtown Square. Hosted by Old Town Shoppes on the Square and the Friends of Downtown and supported by Main Street.
'Tis Christmas Time
Celebrate the holiday season with an old-fashioned event that features photos with Santa in the Historic Courthouse, carriage rides, carolers and refreshments. - all this plus shopping for that special holiday gift at the Shoppes on the Square.
